We recently celebrated NLED’s 5th anniversary and I couldn’t be prouder. Production schedules, flow charts, diagrams….oh the fun we’ve had!
I admit, when I look back, I can’t help but feel a sense of accomplishment. It also makes me appreciate one of my favorite aspects about this business — no two days are the same. One day we are booking world-renowned authors to speak at a conference and the next we are looking into drag queen entertainment. We’ve got projects that allow us to get a bit crazy, and we also have educational events, which are, of course, edifying. It helps keep us balanced but no matter the content, we strive to bring creative elements to the planning table.
Often we are brought into the process as soon as the concept has been defined. Other times, we might get a call when an annual project needs a fresh strategy or an event has grown to be too complicated to run internally or new plans have made the event very heavy in logistics. In any case, meeting each client where they are at and eliminating the obstacles is what we do really well and it makes for an interesting career! Personally, my favorite part of the process is making sense of it all and creating a truly complete plan of attack.
Of course, if it were all change on all fronts, this could become wearing and here’s where you come in…our fabulous colleagues. The spirit and inspiration we get from our clients remains constant and the more we work together, the more repeat business we have. We have the pleasure of working with numerous repeat clients who we not only enjoy, but find very energizing. This is a wonderful compliment and to be honest, very reassuring that NextLevel is on the right track for the next 5 years! Our growing clientele and their growing businesses make it all work.
So whether we’re helping you get the in demand author or the burlesque show underway, refreshing an event we’ve done before, or you have a much bigger challenge to tackle this year, know that NextLevel is in it with you. Each day is different, and that’s the fun part. Thank you for the past 5 years and here’s to the next 5.
