Cathy’s exceptional ability to build, coordinate and execute extensive production plans has prompted a lofty demand. As one of the most accomplished event planners in Chicago, Cathy’s combination of expertise, impeccable customer service, thoughtful client interaction and strong rapport building is the recipe for repeatable success.
Truth be told, event planners of Cathy’s ilk are few and far between; she’s a natural born planner—the kind that relishes in solving complex and time-sensitive logistics puzzles. She comes from a long line of Hospitality professionals and is proud to be the 4th generation to carry on the torch. Cathy grew up a determined event-planning junkie, working the complete gamut of roles required to produce an event: she operated dish machines and elevators; managed banquet services, catering sales and off-premise catering; and eventually worked her way up to general event management.
Before founding her own event planning company, Cathy served as Senior Planner and Director of Sales and Business development at one of the top 50 Event Planning Agencies in the world. While there she further honed her skills working with Oprah Winfrey, Obama for America, State Farm Insurance, Absolut Vodka and led her team to produce events for clients including General Electric, Proctor and Gamble, NIKE, and many others.
Cathy brings her unbounded creativity and energy to each project she undertakes.
